Cumbria Athletics Coaches Association - Introduction
Formed in April 2006 the Cumbrian Athletics Coaches Association (CACA) came into being to assist qualified coaches with their coaching and to encourage others to take up this facet of the sport.
Central to the tenet of CACA is the belief that the priority for coaches is to assist athletes of all ages and standards to achieve their full potential.
Forums of members are held regularly and the Association is planning a full series of courses throughout the winter and spring of 2006-2007.
Throughout the winter and spring of 2006-2007 members will regularly receive a Newsletter which will also appear on the website.
Membership of CACA brings a number of benefits including attending courses organised specifically for coaches in Cumbria; attending a major two-day coaching conference to be staged in Cumbria in November 2006; financial assistance to coaches who wish to upgrade to the next level; assistance with coaching problems (including analysis of submitted film).
